Keeping with our key value of Sustainability and Environmental Stewardship, Coral Gold adheres to strict environmental standards at all of our operations.
In Nevada, Coral Gold’s US subsidiary Coral Resources Inc. completed a comprehensive Environmental Assessment (EA) of the Robertson Project that included third party studies on possible archeological sites, air quality, water, rodents, migratory species, raptors, reptiles, vegetation, insects and endangered species and a number of other environmental issues. The assessment located no native religious sites or burial grounds nor any endangered species. On September 24th, 2012, Coral announced that its consultant SRK Consulting had completed and submitted the EA to the BLM. After BLM review, comment period, and several amendments SRK finalized the EA and refiled it in June 2013 which then went out for public comment which resulted in no significant challenges.
The overall process started in April 2010 and has cost approximately US$994,000. Findings from the EA were incorporated into Coral Gold’s Amended Preliminary Economic Analysis.
